OVERVIEW

The Luna knife is purpose-built for discreet carry, making it an ideal choice for those who require a knife that can be concealed easily. Its compact design is most suited for use as a neck knife, allowing for subtle and unobtrusive access when worn around the neck. This method ensures the blade remains concealed yet readily available when needed.

In addition to neck carry, the Luna knife offers flexible setup options for belt or pocket carry. These configurations provide users with alternative ways to carry the knife securely and discreetly, adapting to individual preferences and situational requirements.

BLADE SIZE and LEGAL COMPLIANCE

The Luna knife is available with a blade length that measures between 2.5 inches and 2.75 inches from hilt to tip. This range in blade size provides users with the flexibility to select a knife that complies with specific state or municipal regulations regarding blade length. Additionally, when constructing the handle, modifications can be made to either shorten or extend the knife scales toward the tip, ensuring that the overall blade length remains within legal limits as needed. The design philosophy behind the Luna knife is centered on covert carry, emphasizing discretion and compliance with applicable laws.

ERGONOMIC DESIGN and GRIP OPTIONS

The Wharncliffe blade featured on the Luna is specifically engineered to achieve deep cuts, maximizing its effectiveness within the constraints of its blade size. The ergonomic design supports versatile handling, allowing users to operate the knife comfortably in both forward and reverse grips.

When held in forward grip, the knife is intended for the thumb to rest securely on the top of the blade, following the Filipino grip technique. This method enables precise control and powerful indexing, letting the user accurately direct the blade to the intended cutting location with confidence.

In reverse grip, the handle is thoughtfully shaped so that the user's thumb can rest on the "punyo", which is the butt of the knife. This design element provides a secure and stable hold, enhancing safety and control during use.
